This site is operated by Afrevo Company Limited, registered in Tanzania and based in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam. When this notice says "we," it means Afrevo Company Limited acting as the data controller for personal information handled through afrevo.co.tz.

Two kinds of information only: what you send us on purpose (name, email, company and message when you use the contact form; email address if you join the newsletter), and the standard technical information our web server logs on every request (IP address, page requested, browser type and referring URL). We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data through this website.

To reply to your message, to send updates you asked for, and to keep the site running securely and reliably. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.

None. This site does not set cookies, run analytics or load third-party trackers. If that ever changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before anything non-essential is stored in your browser.

Contact form submissions: up to 24 months, then deleted, unless we're actively working with you. Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe. Server logs used for security and debugging: up to 90 days.

Only the service providers we need to run the site and reply to you: currently our hosting provider and our email provider. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and can only use the data to deliver their service to us. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers or unrelated third parties.

Some of our providers store data outside Tanzania. Where that happens we rely on standard contractual safeguards to keep the level of protection consistent with Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act (2022) and, for visitors in the EU or UK, the GDPR.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us processing it, or withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter. Email hello@afrevo.co.tz and a real person will reply within one business day.

This site is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information through the site, email hello@afrevo.co.tz and we will delete it.

When the notice changes we update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we announce it on the site. The previous version is kept in our records so you can ask what changed.
